The Bell
Notifications live in the bell in the app's title bar. They're stored server-side rather than held in whatever the app happened to have in memory, so what you have read stays read after a restart.
What You're Notified About
- A task is assigned to you
- Someone comments on your work
- A status changes
- A pull request on your work is merged
- A release ships
- You're added to a project
What You're Not Notified About
Your own actions. Assigning a task to yourself, commenting on your own task, or shipping a release you shipped generates nothing. A notification you already knew about is noise.
You also aren't notified about work in projects you don't have access to — the same rule that governs the activity feed. See Teams & Sharing.
Kwilio Projects does not email notifications. Account verification and password reset codes are emailed; nothing else is.
Invitations aren't emailed either — you get a link and send it however you already talk to the person.
