Privacy Policy

Kwilio ("we", "us", or "our") builds native apps for macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Windows. This Privacy Policy explains what information our apps collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Which apps this covers
Our apps fall into two groups, and they handle data differently:
- Standalone apps distributed through the App Store — such as Wallet Savvy, Bills Pro, Micro CRM, Recall, Pixaro, and SecureStack. These need no account, and your data stays on your device or in your own iCloud account. Sections 1–7 below describe them.
- Kwilio Projects, which is an account-based service. It requires an account, stores your team's work on our servers so colleagues can share it, and is billed through PayPal rather than the App Store. It is governed by its own, more detailed policy: the Kwilio Projects Privacy Policy . Where the two documents differ, that one applies to Kwilio Projects.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Our standalone apps are designed to work without requiring you to create an account or provide personal information. Any data you enter into them (such as tasks, notes, or settings) is stored locally on your device or, if you enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account. We never have access to this data.
Kwilio Projects is the exception: it requires an account, so it stores your name, your email address, a hash of your password, and the work your team puts into it. See its privacy policy for the full detail.
Automatically collected information
For our App Store apps, we may receive anonymous, aggregated crash reports and usage statistics through Apple's built-in analytics tools (available only if you have opted in to sharing analytics with developers on your device). This data does not include personally identifiable information and is used solely to improve app stability and performance.
Our apps contain no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no session recorder, and no advertising code of our own. Apps downloaded directly from us check for updates at launch, which — like any web request — reveals your IP address and the app version to our hosting provider in its ordinary server logs.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information — except where an app requires an account to work at all, which today means only Kwilio Projects.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not build profiles, sell personal data, or share data with advertisers.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs inside our apps.
- We do not train AI models on your data. We have no model to train.
2. iCloud Sync
Some of our apps offer optional iCloud sync so your data is available across your Apple devices. When enabled, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy . We cannot access this data.
3. Purchases & Subscriptions
For apps sold through the App Store, all purchases are processed by Apple. For Kwilio Projects, subscriptions are processed by PayPal. In both cases payment details are entered on the payment provider's own pages and go to them — we never see or store your card details. See Apple's Privacy Policy and PayPal's Privacy Policy .
4. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
5. Data Retention
For our standalone apps, we do not collect personal data, so there is none for us to retain or delete. Your app data lives on your device and/or iCloud account, and can be deleted at any time by removing the app or clearing its data in your device settings.
For Kwilio Projects, we keep an organisation's data for as long as that organisation exists, and delete it on request — we do not charge for this and will not make it difficult. See its privacy policy for retention periods and your rights.
6. Third-Party Links
Our apps or website may contain links to third-party sites and services (such as the App Store, PayPal, or a code host you choose to connect). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their policies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use of our apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
